History: I will describe briefly what I know about my character, but for more information on her personality and history, these links have been found to be the most helpful, and are also my references for any research related to my character (besides the show of course):

She was born on April 27, 1987. She was 19 when she met the Doctor (although this is debatable considering timeline- taking this date into consideration, she should have been 17 when she met the Doctor, however it is entirely possible that she lied about her age to make herself seem more mature- for the sake of this rp, she was 19).
Rose was a shop girl, working in a department store, then went on to have many adventures with the Ninth Doctor. In the end, when the Ninth Doctor sent her home to her time to keep her safe, she took matters into her own hands and, with the help of the TARDIS, became the Bad Wolf. The Doctor knew that the power in her mind was burning her, and took it into himself, then turning into the Tenth Doctor.
After more traveling with Ten, she made the decision to leave her family and friends behind for the Doctor, just to stay with him. In the end, this was not to be, and she ended up in a parallel universe with her mother and "parallel" father (her father in her world had died while she was still an infant). While away from the Doctor, she made it a point to find him again.
This became even more important when she noticed the stars going out in all worlds, not just the parallel world she was in. She then (with the help of Torchwood) created a dimension canon, and after chasing him (and getting there just a little too late), she eventually found him, and helped save the universe once again, this time with the help of other companions (Martha Jones, Jack Harkness, Donna Noble, Sarah Jane Smith, Mickey Smith, and her mother- Jackie Tyler...she was only able to see Harriet Jones through a computer screen before she was destroyed by the Daleks).
At the end however, due to certain circumstances, a biological metacrisis occurred with the Doctor, creating the Meta-Crisis Doctor (a literal clone of the Tenth Incarnation, except with only one heart, able to age, and no ability to regenerate- in other words, part human). She was left back on the parallel universe with the Meta-Crisis Doctor, and series-wise, this was the end of her story. My head-canon past this point is that she is still trying to get used to her part human Doctor, coming to terms with being stuck in Parallel London, and saving the world on a daily basis as one of the top executives at Torchwood (her own adventures as “Rose Tyler, Defender of Earth”). This isn’t always easy- in fact, working and coping with her new life is probably the hardest thing she’s ever had to do.
Equipment/Weapons: possibly a cell phone and a hand gun that’s only ever been used for target practice. It IS Torchwood after all.
Personality: Rose can be naive, but sometimes it's just for show. She is known to be sweet, gentle and empathetic, full of love for anyone she meets, and is a quick learner. This means she can pretty much adapt to any situation no matter how strange it is. Rose is in love with her Doctor (nine and ten, at this point the Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor), and will do absolutely anything for him. This includes the willingness to kill any of the Doctor's enemies without feeling bad for doing so. Beyond anything, Rose is brave- others can say this is stupidity, but she is rather brilliant in her own right. I believe she really has the courage to do what she needs to do. Kind of in a “what would the Doctor do if he were here” way, and even when she knows that something has a one in a million chance of working, she will take that chance, no matter the consequences.
On the other hand, she is a VERY jealous person when it comes to what she likes/loves/wants (especially the Doctor). This has been shown throughout the series and some non-television stories, although the television series is what is considered canon. Another weakness is that she, once again, can be very naive, and sometimes too trusting- to where it can get her in trouble. Rose also has a flirtatious streak- if she sees a good looking man, she will flirt just for fun, but once again this can get her into trouble as well. She’s also very stubborn, which could be good or bad depending on the scenario. As stated before, she is known to be empathetic and is seen to be good with children- the way I personally play her, I give her more of a maternal instinct than what is shown in the show or in the official BBC books I’ve read. Another personality trait that I like playing with, considering the point I am taking her from in her canon, is that she tries to seem a little tougher, maybe even a little more assertive in a business-like manner. This is all just to hide that she is still extremely vulnerable, but Rose will not admit it to anyone who doesn’t need to know (anyone who isn’t the Doctor). Also, I wanted to add that although it wasn’t ever proven in canon, she seems comfortable with guns (not trigger happy, mind), especially later in season 4 of the show. I’d also like to add that when I play her in certain situations, I like to elaborate on the often overlooked leadership aspect of her personality. When she sees a chance to help, she will take control- and she doesn’t care who she’s ordering around if it means saving their lives (or someone else’s).
